IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SKATEPARK COALITION
RED SEVEN VEGAS AM JAM FORMAT
The Red SEVEN Vegas Am Jam Series is operated as a jam format, which is an open forum for all skaters and riders to compete together within their respective sport-specific session. The jam-style arrangement is a more relaxed environment and encourages the competitors to try various maneuvers and tricks. All participants are required to wear helmets to compete.

REGISTRATION
Each competition is open to both male and female competitor’s ages 5 and up. Contest registration forms are available at local area skate shops, during the event and can be downloaded in advance off our website. There is a $10 entry fee, and all participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the liability waiver. The competitions start immediately following registration.

All competitors should arrive on time to register as the comps fills up quickly. Competitors indicate which category they will compete in on their registration form and are divided accordingly. The categories for Skateboarding are SK8 Jr Jam (beginners- must be 11 or younger), SK8 Intermediate 13 and under, SK8 Intermediate 14 and up and SK8 Advanced. BMX is divided into BMX Junior Jam (beginners- must be 11 or younger), BMX Intermediate or BMX Advanced. Classes are subject to change due to special interest or enrollment and event.

PERFORMANCE JUDGING
Competitors will be judged on their performance in two heats, approximately 3-5 minutes in length, with up to 7 competitors participating at once. Scoring is based on variety, style, skill, and amplitude. The scores for both runs are then combined to get total score for each competitor, and determine the first, second and third place winners. Judging is voluntarily provided by local skate/bike shops, industry related representatives and local volunteers. Awards and results for each comp are announced at the end of the event, and complete standings are posted on the website.
